PRIVACY NOTICE
Police Emergency Assistance for Critical Events and Monitoring of Activities in a Keen and Efficient Response (PEACEmaker) Tracker App
(Compliant with Republic Act No. 10173 – Data Privacy Act of 2012)

The PEACEmaker Tracker App respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other applicable laws. This Privacy Notice explains how your personal data is collected, used, stored, shared, and protected when you register and use the application.
Information We Collect
Upon registration and use of the app, we may collect the following:
- Personal Information: Full Name
- Contact Information: Mobile Number, Email Address
- Location Information: Real-time GPS location (while logged in/ on-duty)
- Account Information: Login user name and encrypted password
- PNP Personnel Information (if applicable): Rank, Unit, Sub-Unit, and Station
Purpose of Collection
Your personal data is collected for legitimate and lawful purposes, including:
- Creating and managing your PEACEmaker account
- Verifying identity and maintaining accurate records
- Enabling real-time location tagging and activity recording
- Ensuring system security, accountability, and user safety
- Supporting lawful police operations and internal policies
Data Sharing and Disclosure
Your data may only be shared with:
- Authorized PEACEmaker personnel
- PNP offices/units, when required for safety, public service, crime prevention, or by law
Note: Your data will never be shared for profit or without a legitimate purpose.

- Password encryption
- Role-based access controls
- Secure servers and encrypted connections
- Access logging and regular system audits
- Strict confidentiality policies for authorized personnel
Retention and Disposal
- Personal data is retained only as long as necessary for legitimate purposes or legal requirements
- Real-time location data is collected only while logged in and stops upon logout
- After the retention period, data is securely deleted, anonymized, or destroyed
